Straight on the back of its new 2007 Editions catalogue, Staffordshire-based Alsecco announces the launch of Armatop Carbon Fibre at this month’s 100% Detail exhibition.

Armatop Carbon Fibre is a high-impact resistant facade solution bringing together the very latest in innovative organic technologies. The base material, used widely in aerospace, motor racing and the medical industry has been developed for facade use by Alsecco’s expert R&D department. Unlike any other wall base protection system currently available, the unique properties of Armatop Carbon Fibre set new standards in façade technology, combining ultimate strength with high protection for areas exposed to considerable stress and wear. Indeed, the surface is impact resistant up to 30 Joules, making it the toughest facade system on the market today: compare this with conventional insulated mineral finishes that achieve only ca.3 Joules.
