With their design for the extension of the school complex built more than 40 years ago, the architects created a contrast to monotone and drab in the school’s other buildings. The detail of the joints on every part of the façade demanded maximum precision. The ceramic tiles were specially manufactured to achieve a 97mm edge and 2mm of curvature. Every interface with windows, doors, external and internal corners was carefully designed so that only complete tiles were used.
