Passivhaus Trust

Passivhaus TrustThe Passivhaus Trust is an independent, non-profit organisation that provides leadership in the UK for the adoption of the Passivhaus standard and methodology.

Passivhaus is the leading international low energy, design standard. Over 37,000 buildings have been designed, built and tested to this standard worldwide.

The Trust aims to promote the principles of Passivhaus as a highly effective way of reducing energy use and carbon emissions from buildings in the UK, as well as providing high standards of comfort and building health. alsecco has recently become a Patron member and is keen to work with the Trust in promoting the benefits of Passivhaus in the UK.

BBA

BBA CertificationBBA certification is recognised throughout the construction industry as a symbol of quality and reassurance. Most alsecco systems are BBA approved as we see it as a step to ensure acceptance with specifiers, building control, local authorities and insurers.

INCA

The Insulated Render and Cladding Association (INCA) is the recognised trade association for the external wall insulation (EWI) industry, representing the major system designers, a nationwide network of specialist installers and the key component suppliers. alsecco is an active member of INCA with Ben Parry , Director, as a board member. We also support both the technical and marketing groups of INCA.

NIA

The National Insulation Association (NIA) is the lead trade body for insulation, including solid wall insulation in the UK and represents manufacturers, system suppliers, installers, component suppliers and distributors of a wide range of insulation measures.

The NIA represents the industry’s views to Government and other key external stakeholders promotes the benefits of insulation and use of NIA members.  NIA members meet the associations robust membership criteria and sign up to a strict code of professional practice. alsecco is an active member of the NIA, participating in its marketing/business development group and solid wall insulation technical and training group.

Get Connectedalsecco is proud to support Get Connected - the UK's free, confidential helpline for young people under 25 who need help and don't know where to turn. The service is available 365 days a year and young people can make contact by phone, webchat, email, text message or use the online directory, WebHelp 24/7.

This year Get Connected will support over 200,000 children and young people in crisis across the UK.

alsecco is proud to be a member of the NHIC and support its work to provide impartial advice and information on all manner of home improvements - now including renewable energy technologies, for more than forty years.

The aim of the NHIC is to bring every home in the UK up to modern, energy efficient standards, fully in line with the Green Deal’s targets, to help save money on improvements and, especially, on running costs and reducing household bills.
